Pretty soon, Oz will be the great, the powerful, and the ubiquitous. A whole horde of companies are collaborating with Disney’s latest film and releasing lines inspired by the movie’s characters.
Mariah Carey signed on as the newest American Idol judge in late July, and now she’s inked a deal with OPI. Well, it was only a matter of time before the endorsements and collabs started rolling in.
This was the week Kim Kardashian wedding details leaked, a lady had Damien Hirst tattoo her vagina, and the Muppets became super relevant. Also, Marc Jacobs might be headed to Dior, and Iris Apfel is getting the documentary treatment.
It appears the Muppets are slowly but surely taking over the fashion industry, one collaboration at a time. Yesterday, we found out that they are working with Opening Ceremony on a clothing collection (which Miss Piggy will be debuting on Fashion’s Night Out), and now we have word that nail polish giant O.P.I. will bow a holiday collection inspired by (and named after) the iconic puppets.
The Kardashians‘ Nicole by OPI nail polish collection is here. And it is called — drumroll, please! — Kardashian Kolors!
There’s nothing the Kardashian sisters won’t sell, but their latest partnership makes a little more sense than that one with Charmin. Get excited, reality show fans — Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe are collaborating on a Nicole by OPI nail polish collection!
We here at Styleite are nail polish addicts. Rarely will you see us without some sort of bright and/or bold color on our tips. But even we’re getting a little tired of the branded polish thing (Katy Perry’s Black Shatter color notwithstanding.) And now Glee is getting in on the action, releasing a limited edition nail polish collection for Sephora by OPI next month.
We all know that finding the right color is like finding the most fitting, custom-tailored pair of jeans. So save the sweat, because we did the research for you, designating our favorite shades with its best paired skin tone.
Experimentation seems to be the new rule — which means playing with color combinations and utilizing different textures to create something completely authentic and unique for each individual.
