Say what you will about Hedi Slimane‘s collection for Saint Laurent fall 2013, the only opinion that matters is Pierre Bergé‘s, the lifelong partner of the late designer Yves Saint Laurent. And Bergé’s thoughts, as expected, are nothing short of supportive and praise-worthy.
Something tells us the Saint Laurent PR team is busy hiding Hedi Slimane‘s smartphone, laptop, and iPad right now, because Cathy Horyn has weighed in on the house’s divisive fall 2013 collection, and, as we might have predicted, she definitely did not mince words.
As much as Fashion Month is all about seeing dreamy clothes on the runways in New York, London, Milan, and Paris, it’s also about the lack thereof. For fall 2013, designers sent out topless, bottomless, and downright naked models, and of course, we have it all right here.
Usually when you drop a couple grand on an outfit, you don’t want to look like you dug it up out of the bottom of a mildew-y thrift shop bargain bin, right? Wrong. Well, at least according to the Olsen twins, Hedi Slimane, and of course, Courtney Love.
Well folks, we’ve made it. It’s our last livestream of Paris Fashion Week and we hope you’ll join us in the front row one final time before bidding adieu to the City of Lights. This morning’s show is Elie Saab, which means we’re in for a first peek at what stars will be wearing on the red carpet in the months to come.

It doesn’t get much prettier than Valentino‘s fall show, which walked earlier today in Paris. The house has a reputation for producing dreamy, romantic collections season after season, but their outing for fall felt like one of their strongest yet. It wasn’t easy, but we’ve narrowed down the show to our top ten looks (plus one especially covetable accessory).
Chanel has officially marked its territory…all the way ’round the whole wide world. As if Karl Lagerfeld would settle for anything less than global domination.
We’ll place our bets now: Hedi Slimane‘s fall collection for Saint Laurent will be by far the most polarizing of Paris Fashion Week. Are you on board with the grungy new look, or do you side with the critics who saw the show as an abomination?
There’s no better way to start this lovely Tuesday than with a livestream of the Valentino fall 2013 runway show at 8:30 AM EST. And lucky for you, dear reader, we’ve got a front row seat with your name on it right here.
Hussein Chalayan‘s show may not be the biggest or most star-studded Paris Fashion Week event, but it is usually one of the coolest. This season, the Cypriot-British designer took a concept he’s explored before — high-tech dresses that transform on the body — and translated it into wearable, commercially viable pieces.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West finally made their Paris Fashion Week debut as parents-to-be at Sunday night’s Givenchy fall 2013 show.
Raf Simons‘ second ready-to-wear show for Christian Dior walked today in Paris, which meant we were at our screens bright and early to catch the live stream of the hotly-anticipated event. In many ways, it was the perfect start to the morning: a breezy, upbeat collection blending pop art, surrealism, and the well-entrenched codes of the storied French house.
Ahh, technology. Despite the six-hour time difference between Paris and New York, we’re still able to watch this afternoon’s Maison Martin Margiela fall 2013 show from the front row. And guess what? — you can, too! We’re streaming the show at 1 PM EST, don’t miss it.
Kanye West popped up at Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday at the Anthony Vaccarello show, and now it seems he may soon be taking his own bow on the runway yet again.
We’re starting off our Friday with a livestream of the Christian Dior fall 2013 show, and we saved you a seat in the front row!
Now that you’ve nabbed front row seats to fashion week month with our runway livestreams, get on the list for one of the hottest tickets in the City of Lights: Karl Lagerfeld‘s store opening.
The moment of truth finally came this morning in Paris: how would Alexander Wang fare with his debut collection for Balenciaga? Quite well, as it turns out.
Just because we don’t live or work in Paris doesn’t mean we can’t get a front row seat at Barbara Bui‘s fall 2013 show. We’re livestreaming her show at 11 AM EST, you’ll definitely wanna watch it with us.
