Philipp Plein Page 1
There is shock value, and then there is Philipp Plein‘s fall 2013 men’s collection, which just walked in Milan yesterday. The focus was decidedly less on the leather jackets and slim trousers, and more on the accessories — gas masks, ski masks, and machine guns.
Philipp Plein has upped the ante once again with his headline-grabbing ad campaigns — a feat we barely thought possible after casting Lindsay Lohan, Ed Westwick, and Terry Richardson all within the course of a year. But an It girl and some apparent incest will definitely do the trick!
First Mischa, than LiLo, then Ed Westwick. Now it’s Léa T‘s turn to drum up some publicity for designer Philipp Plein.
Ed Westwick (who will always be Chuck Bass to us, in the same way Adam Brody will always be Seth Cohen) doesn’t just star in the latest ad campaign for Philipp Plein — he also walked the runway for the brand.
Philipp Plein (who you may remember as the guy who tried to help Lindsay Lohan make a comeback) just released a behind-the-scenes video of his fall 2012 campaign, in which Terry Richardson photographs a really hot model grinding on the even hotter Ed Westwick.
In almost absolutely miraculous news, Lindsay Lohan showed up to shoot her ad campaign for Philipp Plein over the weekend and the whole thing apparently went off without a hitch — despite the fact that Lohan hadn’t ever seen a single piece of the designer’s collection.
First Lindsay Lohan had a modeling gig with Fornarina. Then came her ill-fated stint as creative director of Ungaro. Then she got her own line of leggings. Then came the shoes, which sadly, no one remembers. At every turn, Lindsay Lohan’s involvement in a smattering of fashion businesses has turned into embarrassing headlines — none of which are more embarrassing than the ones she generates on her own. So we’re legitimately shocked to learn that the fumbling actress just got hired to be the face of another brand.
From the man who gave us the most over-zealously photoshopped images of Mischa Barton this world has ever seen, comes a new ad campaign featuring the fanciest merkin this world has ever seen.
Pardon us for beating a dead horse — erm, zebra — but when we discovered these shots from Mischa Barton‘s latest modeling effort we couldn’t help but blow our photoshop vuvuzela. Barton appears in a new campaign for German fashion designer Philipp Plein and no matter your opinion of the actress and her career, the images are pretty startling.
