You can try to pretend that you weren’t obsessed with the Royal Wedding all you want, but the numbers don’t lie. Nearly 23 million Americans either got up real early or stayed up late to see what Kate Middleton would wear when she turned into Duchess Catherine of Cambridge. And that’s not even counting the people who watched it stream live online.
As expected, Princes William and Harry are donning full military regalia at this little shindig. Will is in the uniform of the Irish Guards, while Harry is in the uniform of the Blues and Royals. A nice red and blue contrast situation, right? And dare we say Harry looks fancier?! Blame it on the ropes.
We don’t think your calendars are ready for this jelly, but Clarence House has just unveiled a minute-by-minute schedule of the Royal Wedding, including the exact moment Prince Charles and Camilla, The Duchess of Cornwall are scheduled to depart Buckingham Palace. When Vivienne Westwood presented her latest menswear collection in Milan yesterday, she had a certain man in mind: Prince William. Her show notes read, “With royal marriage in the air, who would you choose to be your bridegroom? Come on girls, our catwalk is your chance to dream.”
That’s right, Michelle and Barack are getting the royal snub. The Daily Mail reports that since Prince William isn’t heir to the throne yet (that distinction belongs to his father Prince Charles), his wedding won’t be considered a “state occasion.” As such, him and Kate have decided to leave the Obamas off the coveted guest list.
