The number of times I’ve burned, fried, singed and/or annihilated my hair is disastrously, embarassingly high. Beauty experts are supposed to know better — but, of course, flatirons, curling irons, and blowdryers (to say nothing of random, calamitous overseas experiences involving wattage converters and electrical outlets) take their toll. Considering the billions of dollars spent each year in the beauty industry, it can be a little overwhelming weeding through the great and the terrible in the hopes of finding that perfect mascara or won’t-make-you-break-out moisturizer—so that’s where Product Junkie comes in!
