We’d venture to say it’s made it past “It Bag” status and is on its way to becoming a full-fledged classic. Unfortunately, as with any iconic design, knockoffs are inevitable. Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez just never thought a company they’ve collaborated with would be the culprit.

We will start off this post by saying that we love the Proenza Schouler PS1 bag. Like, a lot. It’s a great bag. We’re jealous of our friends who have them. We want one (Hanukkah starts in two weeks, people!). But the brand’s new video promoting the PS1′s entree into the world of patent leather is more than a little strange.
