Heidi Klum, Angela Lindvall, Carolyn Murphy…Alyssa Milano? While the first three names are up there in the upper reaches of supermodel-dom, the latter is, well, not quite in the same milieu. But the actress is joining their ranks as host of the third season of Project Runway All Stars, where she’ll appear alongside returning judges Isaac Mizrahi and Georgina Chapman — both of whom are Charmed, we’re sure.
It has certainly been a big year for Georgina Chapman. Since January, the Marchesa designer has announced plans to launch a lower-priced line, crafted a collection of fashionable football gear (seriously), designed the gown for one of the most-hyped celebrity weddings, and leant her considerable talents to Project Runway: All Stars, where she serves as a judge alongside Isaac Mizrahi and host Carolyn Murphy. Oh, and did we mention she just announced her second pregnancy? Because yep, that too.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley reportedly backed out of negotiations for a potential Project Runway: All Stars hosting gig just days before filming started. Not cool, girl.
Mondo Guerra took home the grand prize on this Thursday’s finale of Project Runway All Stars, beating out competitors Austin Scarlett and Michael Costello. Following the win, the designer celebrated with family, friends, and a few choice words about his future plans and what really went on off the runway.
If you didn’t watch Thursday night’s episode of Project Runway: All Stars, you missed out on some serious porcine delicacies. By which we mean the bons mots and hilarious quips of the episode’s guest judge, the unsinkable Miss Piggy.
We confess: we haven’t been watching Project Runway: All-Stars. (Have you?) But we might just have to tune in tonight to see Miss Piggy in all her divalicious glory judge the contestants on their designs. That said, is this really real? If we were a designer and we got kicked off because a fictional character with a notoriously fickle personality didn’t like us, we’d be pissed. Anyway! Here’s a preview clip:
One day we’re going to meet Marie Claire editor-in-chief Joanna Coles, befriend her and join in her mission of keeping things real. But until that day is here, we’ll be watching her on Project Runway: All Stars, where she’ll be replacing Tim Gunn as design adviser to this season’s group of contestants.
Project Runway’s new cast has us starstruck! Lifetime announced the new contestants (and completely new judges panel) for Project Runway All Stars today. Here’s your first look into what’s bound to be a delightfully dramatic and tear-filled season.
