Project Runway Recap Page 2
In episode four of Project Runway, we learn a very important lesson: contestants should not be judges.
Project Runway has been the “Gretchen Jones Show” so far — the Oregonian designer has won the first two challenges, and finishes in the top three again in this one. But it’s not just her wins. She’s also getting on everyone’s nerves, by winning a lot but also talking constantly. “You talk all the time!” said A.J., who talks all the time as well. Also, Betsy Johnson was the guest judge and she wants to explode A.J.’s dress.
Episode two of Project Runway was one long Marie Claire infomercial, featuring Joanna Coles as guest judge, a time-filling photoshoot for each designer and the prize of a Marie Claire Times Square billboard. But the judges weren’t messing around this week — and, spoiler alert we were greeted to two very necessary eliminations.
Project Runway‘s eighth season kicked off last night on Lifetime with not just 16, but 17 designers ready to make it work. “And Sew It Begins” began with the designers informed they weren’t officially contestants, and that one or more would be eliminated before the hour-and-a-half show was up. Let’s meet them.
