We’d guess that with one River Island collab selling like hot pants and another hitting shelves in less than a week, Rihanna is a bit sensitive about her image being affixed to another brand’s clothing. According to a source who spoke to the New York Post, Topshop’s Icon Tank, which features her face, has the star T’d off.
We haven’t heard much about Rihanna’s fashion-centric reality show since the news broke that it would premiere stateside this year, despite poor ratings across the pond, but today a press release landed in our inbox with another big name tied to the series: Pharrell Williams.
In less than two weeks you’ll be free to snap up as many crop tops, jumpsuits, and crocheted maxi skirts as you please from Rihanna’s summer collection for River Island, but until then, you’ll just have to bide your time flipping through the lookbook. Luckily, we’ve got it right here, with prices and all!
Rihanna‘s sophomore collection for UK high street brand River Island drops May 25, and since the first sold like hot cakes (or should we say hot pants), we’d advise you start making a game plan now if you want a piece of round two. If you think Rihanna is just going to wear some plain white tee and nondescript booty shorts on her Diamonds World Tour, think again. The super star kicked off her tour in Buffalo, New York on Friday, and turned the stage into a runway with some custom Givenchy duds.
Fashion’s most ubiquitous set of eyebrows has had a fairly busy season, and for our part, we can’t think of a designer she didn’t walk for. But all that parading up and down the runway can get pretty exhausting, the model reveals.

The red carpet at the Grammys is always unpredictable, but this year’s Gaga-free pre-show was surprisingly tame. Nary an egg to be seen, the night’s biggest names stormed the step ‘n repeat in — dare we say it? — almost Oscar-ready ensembles.
At this point, it’s pretty safe to say that any cover story on Rihanna will touch heavily on another, less savory figure: Chris Brown, her 2009 domestic assailant and now on-again boyfriend.
