Last night Elle celebrated Tinseltown’s elite at their Women in Hollywood celebration. Vets like Diane Keaton and Goldie Hawn mixed with the younger set, which included Mad Men‘s adorable Kiernan Shipka (who looked like she walked right off the set in her retro frock). The fashionable crowd included Sofia Coppola (classy in black and white), Rachel Zoe (fabulous in fur), Gwyneth Paltrow (punchy in tangerine) and many more.

When we first heard the news that Elle chose Robin Domeniconi as its new chief brand officer, we immediately had doubts. Domeniconi is currently Mircosoft‘s VP of U.S. advertising sales, marketing and publishing. Is it possible, we thought, that someone from a technology background could bring a storied fashion magazine back to life?
