If there’s one thing we’ve determined from this video of Romeo Beckham posing for Burberry‘s spring campaign, it’s that it is way more fun to be a kid model than it is to be a grown-up one.
If you thought Romeo Beckham‘s first Burberry ad was cute, just wait ’til you see his second.
The Beckhams are perhaps one of the most photogenic families in Hollywood, so it was clearly only a matter of time before their 10-year-old son Romeo landed his first modeling campaign. And he’s fronting for none other than Burberry.
Fashion people everywhere are wagging their tongues about how adorable it is that 8-year-old Romeo Beckham, son to David and Victoria, budding style star in his own right, is number eight on British GQ’s list of 50 best dressed men. We think it’s a gimmick.
2010 has proven that the under-15 set can be just as fashion forward (and influential) as their older counterparts. Kids also happen to be really, really cute. We love when they walk in fashion shows, and we’re jealous when their parents buy them designer duds. (But we hate when they act like insufferable brats.)
A couple of months ago the Times asked if Victoria Beckham was for real, and today WWD responds with a definitive “yes.” Their Q&A with the former Spice Girl/current designer is chock full of interesting tidbits, which we’ve mapped out for those among you without a subscription.
