Royals Page 1
Pining for the grandeur and stateliness of a certain ceremony that took place at Buckingham Palace this time two years ago? Well it doesn’t get much more stately than the inauguration of a new king, and today in Amsterdam, Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands abdicated the throne, leaving way for her son, King Willem Alexander. Gowns, crowns, and a little couture coming right up!
Let’s clear one thing up: we don’t really endorse stalking. But if you’re going to tail…er, offer your support to Prince Harry on his upcoming U.S. tour, you’ll need to know where to find him. Sadly, we don’t think naked billiards games will be in the cards this time around.
It should come to no surprise that Kate Middleton isn’t wearing a high-end designer in her official portrait — she’s wearing French Connection. And guess what? The top is on sale!
Since you’ve all been so good this year, we’ve got a big treat today: a double whammy of the Royal Family at Christmas!
Queen Elizabeth II surprised us all this week by ditching her usual pastels and busting out a very festive red tweed coat and even flashing some leg for her annual journey to Sandringham for Christmas.
Instead of spending the holidays at Sandringham, the estate in eastern England where royals traditionally spend Christmas, Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge will be with the Middletons this year in the village of Bucklebury.
We see Queen Elizabeth out and about in fancy headwear all the time. Whether its pink, purple, blue, or green, this is one royal who loves a matching topper. So for last night’s State Banquet, clearly Liz needed something to match the sparkle of her elegant silver gown. Now, we know she must have something….ah yes! The crown!
There’s nothing we love more than a really embarrassing photo of a celebrity. But when it’s a really embarrassing photo of a royal — our favorite royal, HRH The Duchess Of Cambridge, no less — it starts to feel like Christmas came early this year. And no, we’re not talking about topless shots, we’re talking about Kate Middleton in a baby costume.
Despite the fact that the palace has already made good on their threat of legal action against the French publication that ran semi-nude photos of the Duchess of Cambridge, Italian magazine Chi has now come out saying that they’re going to publish them as well.
Prince Harry reappeared this weekend for the first time since nude photos leaked from his Las Vegas party weekend nearly two weeks ago. The Prince wisely chose two wholesome activities for his first forays back in the spotlight, the first the WellChild awards and the second the 2012 Paralympic Games
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be visiting Singapore, Malaysia, the Soloman Islands, and Marau this month on behalf of Queen Elizabeth II for her Diamond Jubilee tour, celebrating her 60 years (!) on the throne. We have their full itinerary, including some intelligence on what Kate will be wearing. Read on!
Looks like we should’ve trained as gymnasts when we were younger, because the gold-winning Team USA just lived one of our dreams: they met Kate Middleton.
Justin Bieber is a hater. Not only is he a hater, he’s a hater who has just bit off a little more than he can chew, because he messed with the Palace. That’s right, he called Prince William out on his receding hairline. Because that DJ Pauly D blowout he’s working is just so cool.
We love the Olympics, but not just because the events are exciting, they inspire fantastic beauty looks and nail art, and they’re producing some excellent role models for young girls. We also love them because they’ve been a wonderful opportunity for royal-stalking.
Let the Olympic festivities begin! The was a reception at Buckingham Palace today to welcome heads of state attending the Opening Ceremony, A.K.A. a fashion extravaganza. Oh, and our dreams came true as MObama and KMid totally hung out.
Marie Claire South Africa has come out with guns blazing against its critics in a post on the the magazine’s website regarding the Photoshopped/illustrated Kate Middleton cover.
Prince Charles may be footing the bill for Kate Middleton‘s wardrobe, but no one can say that she isn’t earning her keep.
Princess Eugenie of York may love huge fascinators (and cool nail art) as much as the next royal, but she wore a very different kind of hat yesterday for her graduation ceremony at Newcastle University yesterday.
Liz ventured outdoors yesterday to see the Olympic flame continue its 8,000 mile journey, fending off that pesky English weather with a khaki cape and an umbrella fit for a queen. Get ready for a very royal and very rainy Olympic Games, everyone!
The Duchess of Cambridge will soon be spending a night on the streets of London with Centrepoint’s Sleep Out campaign in order to raise awareness of the mounting homelessness problem in the UK’s capital city.
