SAG Awards 2011 Page 1
We were so inspired by the Glee ladies’ SAG style that we initially planned on including them in our best dressed round-up. And then we realized each cast member deserved her own close-up. Let’s take a look, shall we?
On the whole, the SAG red carpet was a disappointment. There weren’t an overwhelming number of looks we loved, nor were many fashion risks taken. Most of the sartorial choices just felt pretty safe, you know? Alas, there were indeed some actresses who looked worse than others.
Another Sunday night, another awards show. This time, the stars came out to celebrate each other at the Screen Actors Guild Awards, where a decidedly safe red carpet provided but a few outstanding ensembles. Our favorites, after the jump.
As with every red carpet event of the last month, Natalie Portman (and her beautiful belly) was tonight’s most eagerly anticipated appearance. Opting for an ivory strapless gown by Azzaro, Portman looked every bit the elegant, Old Hollywood movie star — albeit a decidedly pregnant one. We’re happy she favored a form-fitting style for tonight, but can’t quite figure out whether this her best look yet — or merely the safest.
