Sarah Palin joined the team at Fox News this evening to weigh in on the still ongoing election. Though the former governor has made both some sartorial missteps during her last few television appearances, tonight Palin opted for a classic blazer in her go-to color, red, a textured new ‘do with plenty of volume, and a heavy swipe of high-shine lip gloss.

There are certain rules, so they tell you, for what one should and shouldn’t wear on television. Solids are good, as are darker colors and flattering cuts like v-necks. White is definitely a no-no, same goes for patterns and busy prints. But where does a fuzzy, red, rosette-textured holiday jacket fall on the spectrum of TV-appropriate? That is the question begged by Sarah Palin’s appearance on Sean Hannity last night.
