Jay-Z, Beyoncé, & The Cosby Obamas Invade Saturday Night Live
Our two favorite couples in the whole entire world are the Barack and Michelle Obama and Jay-Z and Beyoncé. Last night both pairs graced the Saturday Night Live stage with a little help from Maya Rudolph.
What If Downton Abbey Were For Bros? SNL Presents Fancy Entourage
We’d love to see the Saturday Night Live cast go full-on Downton Abbey (Kristen Wiig as the Dowager Countess/Lady Mary/O’Brien/anyone?), but last night’s mash-up clip will do for now.
WATCH: Kristen Wiig’s Target Lady Returns To Saturday Night Live
It’s been a few years since we’ve seen Kristen Wiig‘s Target Lady, the overenthusiastic cashier you hope you never have to interact with. Well, she’s baaaaaackkkk!
Another Reason To Love Robyn? She’s Addicted To Alexander Wang
We love Robyn. We love Alexander Wang. Robyn loves Alexander Wang. Does this mean she’d love us?
WATCH: Gaga, Justin Timberlake, & Andy Samberg Have A ’3-Way’
Lady Gaga was more than just a musical guest on last night’s Saturday Night Live season finale — she got in on the sketches, too. Her most notable role? The girl in that all-desirable Justin Timberlake-Andy Samberg threesome sandwich.
WATCH: Lady Gaga Performs In Latex Pregnancy Belly On SNL
We have to give Lady Gaga all sorts of props for her appearance on Saturday Night Live last night. The pop superstar is nothing if not fearless. This is why she was down with emerging from an egg (kind of like at the VMAs, but this one was covered in caviar — fancy!), donning a black latex pregnancy belly, and then giving birth in stirrups (!) on stage. Of course, this was all while performing “Born This Way”.
WATCH: Gaga & Justin Timberlake Mock Penis Shoe Censorship For SNL
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know that Lady Gaga is having quite a week. She’s edited Metro, released a teaser for a documentary with Jean Paul Gaultier, and hosted a (successful!) sale on Gilt. She’s also the subject of an MTV special, and is tonight’s Saturday Night Live musical guest!
WATCH: John Galliano Spoofed On Saturday Night Live
Is there a better barometer of what’s happening in world culture than the cold open of Saturday Night Live? This weekend’s open lambasted the much-reviled Charlie Sheen, played by Bill Hader, hosting a talk show called Duh, Winning! Sheen/Hader’s guests were none other than fictional versions of Muammar Gaddafi, Lindsay Lohan and ousted Dior designer John Galliano. (Fake Christina Aguilera played the show’s band leader. Think of that what you will.)
Rating The SNL Cast Members’ Style At Alice + Olivia
It’s Day 6 of Fashion Week and while we kind of feel like jerks complaining (Wah! Fashion is so hard!), we have to be honest: our brains feel like Blake Lively’s mouth. (Full of cotton and marbles. Zing! Aaaannyway.) All of which is to say: Alice + Olivia’s cupcake, booze, and sequin-filled presentation at The Plaza Monday night is exactly what we needed.
WATCH: Jim Carrey Puts Mila Kunis’ Black Swan To Shame
As you may have heard, this little movie called Black Swan came out a few weeks ago. It stars Natalie Portman as a crazy, lesbian-fantasizing ballerina, Mila Kunis as a Manic Pixie Dream Girl, and, in addition to having costumes designed by Rodarte, it’s obviously the most terrifying, most well acted, most beautiful movie ever made. Which is why Jim Carrey’s soulful rendition of the film’s title dance on SNL is absolutely hilarious.
