Sophie Cranston Denies Designing The Royal Wedding Dress
Well, that was a short-lived rumor. On Saturday, Huffington Post royal correspondent Yvonne York claimed that relatively under-the-radar designer Sophie Cranston would be designing Kate Middleton’s wedding dress. We — as well as many others — picked up York’s announcement, albeit with just the tiniest pinch of salt. Today, Libélula, Cranston’s label, released a public statement denying any involvement with the wedding. Or did they?

She claims Sophie Cranston of Libélula is designing Kate’s gown, and that she’s been waiting to spill the beans for four months.
