On any given day Stacey Bendet makes a fashion statement, whether it be going to dinner in a ballgown on a weeknight or sporting a flower crown before 9:00 AM, but now she’s making her foray into political commentary by going after Eliot Spitzer and his atrocious sexy time socks.
When quirky-cool Stacey Bendet, the mastermind behind Alice + Olivia, invited us to come along on a Summer sojourn to Sun Valley, Idaho, we jumped at the chance! The designer shared some snaps from a trip earlier this month, and if you think her colorful style is reserved for New York City’s anything-goes fashion mentality. . .you’d be wrong.
We all know the ins and outs of wardrobe staples — a plain white tee, dark denim, and a timeless LBD come to mind — but the same goes for beauty. This week, Alice + Olivia designer Stacey Bendet lets us in on the magic all-purpose ointment she makes sure to pick up across the pond.
What is it about this time of year that our calendars seem to be filling up with more and more events with each passing week? And far be it from us to throw on the same old dresses we’ve been wearing all summer — the cooler weather calls for an updated look for after hours, and who better to talk to about dressing up this season than the queen of the cocktail frock herself, Stacey Bendet.
Despite last night’s dreary weather, Elizabeth Banks, Brooklyn Decker, Cameron Diaz, and more attended the New York premiere of What To Expect When You’re Expecting.
Collaborations are a dime a dozen these days, but we simply can’t resist those that involve ice cream.
Though Tim Gunn doesn’t agree, we happen to think Suri Cruise has sick style. We do admit, however, that mom Katie Holmes spends a whole lot of money to keep her daughter in designer duds. In the spirit of Fashion Week, Holmes made some purchases for Suri at Alice + Olivia‘s Bryant Park outpost.
