But on Leno last night, she admitted that she was just as surprised on set as viewers would be later.

Less than two weeks after she not-quite-lip-synced the national anthem at President Obama’s inauguration on January 21, Beyoncé Knowles will take the stage during tonight’s Super Bowl XLVII halftime performance. One of our biggest peeves is having to buy a new outfit just for the sake of a single event. Case in point: buying some sort of San Franciso 49ers- or Baltimore Ravens-themed apparel for Super Bowl Sunday. As much as we like football (and, honestly, that’s not much), we’re just going to be creative and snag some red and white or purple and black pieces so we can always wear them again after Sunday’s big game.
