New York Fashion Week may not have officially started until today, but at last night’s Prabal Gurung for Target launch party, it was clear they were pulling out all the stops to kick off a week of nonstop events. The bash, held in the cavernous Pier 57 space off Mahattan’s West Side Highway, had an over-the-top carnival theme. And we mean it — a colorful carousel, an array of mouthwatering food trucks, people in stilts serving cotton candy out of their XXL pant legs, and a flashing, spinning ride in the center of it all that only the bravest partygoers dared to try.
