Taylor Swift Page 1
Oddly enough, our invite for the Winter White Gala at Kensington Palace got lost in the mail, so we didn’t get wear our custom Elie Saab couture or watch Taylor Swift, Bon Jovi, and Prince William perform “Livin’ On A Prayer”.
Two things we can confirm: This is supposed to be Taylor Swift. And it’s not December yet.
If there were one thing we’d try to avoid at all costs, it would be standing next to one Hailee Steinfeld clad in Prabal Gurung Spring 2014. Sorry, Taylor Swift.
Taylor Swift somehow found time to create a new collection for Keds and it’s pretty cute.
Last night Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall played host to something called the Fragrance Foundation Awards 2013. Our prevailing thought, though, is that you could smell like a foot dipped in melted Limburger cheese and everyone would still want a piece of you if you looked half as good as anyone in attendance.
Step 1: Work on your surprised face.
If you’ve ever wondered what the results would be if Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift changed faces, you now have your answer thanks to the interwebs. Are guys ready for this?
Most country music events call for big gowns and bigger hair, but at last night’s Academy of Country Music Awards, stars like Taylor Swift, Sheryl Crow, and Carrie Underwood proved that more sometimes isn’t always better.
Taylor Swift‘s face has been smiling, smizing, and otherwise staring out at us from newsstands everywhere for the better part of the past year. The 23-year-old kicked off her cover spree with Vogue‘s February 2012, and since then has covered Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, and Vanity Fair, to say nothing of the countless tabloid covers she’s popped up on with boyfriends Conor Kennedy and Harry Styles (They’re on the rocks! They’re moving in together! He’s cheating!). It’s enough to make even the biggest fan of Swift’s music feel exhausted. And, lo and behold, WWD published their report of 2012 newsstand sales today, and it looks like Swift’s covers haven’t been the sales coup the publishers were expecting. But why? We have some hypotheses.
As suspected, the celebrities at this year’s Brit Awards definitely did not opt for subdued looks. From Taylor Swift to Jessie J to Rita Ora (and let’s obviously not forget the boys of One Direction), see all of the evenings red carpet looks right here!
With performers like Taylor Swift, One Direction, Mumford & Sons, and Justin Timberlake, nominees like Rihanna and Rita Ora, and even presenters like runway superstar/cooking show queen Jourdan Dunn, the red carpet at this year’s Brit Awards is sure to be a major event across the pond.
Kaufmanfranco may be a common refrain heard on the red carpet, but yesterday marked the nine-year-old label’s first showing at New York Fashion Week. It was a strong, self-assured debut that begged to be worn by a strong, self-assured woman, and, sure enough, sitting just a few seats down from us in the front row was Jane Krakowski, one of our favorite small screen actresses, well, ever.
Look no further for full coverage of the 55th Annual Grammy Awards!
And it wouldn’t be the Grammys without a little bit of drama.
Nicole Kidman fronts The Hollywood Reporter‘s Sundance issue, and is it just us or does she does look like Taylor Swift on the cover of February Vogue?
The People’s Choice Awards are no Oscars, that’s for sure, but stars like Taylor Swift, Chloe Moretz, and Ellen Pompeo still rocked the red carpet in some great ensembles. From simple gowns to neon frocks, we were pleasantly surprised by (some of) the looks, and we’ve rounded up the best of the best right here.
Judging by the sartorial situation on the subway, sequins were the name of the game last night. But it was a slightly different story for the performers in Times Square for “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve 2013 With Ryan Seacrest” (a bit of a mouthful, we know).
