It’s been a while since we’ve been able to give you an awards show red carpet rundown, so we’re excited to present to you the looks from last night’s Billboard Music Awards.

PHOTOS: The 8 Met Gala Looks That Blew Us Away

We sort of expected to be blown out of the water by the looks at the Metropolitan Museum’s Costume Institute Gala last night. After all, the event is all about fashion, and last night’s, specifically, was about the creations of one of the greatest designers of our time, the late Alexander McQueen. McQueen’s designs were known for their grand scale, high drama, innovative use of materials and nods to time gone by. And the women who made the biggest impressions on the red carpet last night wore gowns that did the exact same things.

The People’s Choice Awards were last night and, while we have no idea who won what, we do know what went down on the red, er, blue carpet. Click through to see Natalie Portman’s adorable baby bump, Khloe Kardashian’s newly red ‘do, Katy Perry’s awesome ombre ensemble, and Ashley Tisdale’s no good, very bad tan.

Which Celeb Had The Best Magazine Sales Of 2010?

If the iPad won’t save magazine sales, Lady Gaga sure will. WWD reports that the not-so-simple act of booking, interviewing, profiling and photographing the mother monster has big impact on magazine sales. According the the Audit Bureau of Circulation, the magazines that featured Gaga in all her glossy gorgeousness sold more copies than virtually any other magazine.

Why I Can Wear Glasses And Taylor Swift Can’t

glasses

I wear glasses. I have worn them since I was 18 months old. I wear them most days. I get asked all the time if my oversized glasses are “real.” Yes, of course they’re real! Do I look like the kind of person who would wear fake frames? Or maybe, there are just more optical impostors out there than I realize. To which I say: down with vanity frames!

Blake, Mila, And More: Who Was Last Night’s Best Dressed?

Last night was so chock full of events that we just couldn’t decide which one to attend! Well, that’s a lie, but all of our invites did seem to get lost in the mail. So instead we bring you the next best thing: a red carpet roundup of Blake Lively, Natalie Portman and other stylish stars.

10 Important Things We Learned Last Week: November 21-27

This week was about more than just turkey and Black Friday! Dolce & Gabbana owe a cool billion, Prince William likes Kate in naughty dresses and Kim Kardashian has a thing for toilet paper. Willow got caught up in a messy knockoff scandal, and we could not escape the studded Loub.

PHOTOS: Taylor Swift Straightens Out For The AMAs

Somewhere between attending the Met’s Costume Institute Gala, taking in Roberto Cavalli’s spring 2011 show in Milan and closing in on her 21st birthday, Taylor Swift became a little more adventurous with her style. Though she still sticks to sparkles when it comes to red carpets, Swift has been mixing things up a bit on her downtime — which is why the stick-straight ‘do she debuted at last night’s American Music Awards was a pleasant and playful surprise.

PHOTOS: Taylor Swift Is All Grown Up, Has Never Looked Better

In the interest of full disclosure, we feel obligated to tell you that we absolutely love Taylor Swift. In other words, it’s almost impossible for her to do any wrong in our eyes. But while she absolutely, without a doubt, never looks bad, we’ve always harbored a secret hope that she’d vamp things up a bit, stray from her sequined pastels, and maybe take a risk or two on the red carpet. And at last night’s BMI Country Music Awards, the record-breaking songstress managed to step her game up while staying true to her sparkly Swift style.

PHOTOS: Kim And Anne Are November’s Cover Queens

Almost all of the November covers are out by now and, with the exception of Anne Hathaway’s gloriously red cover for Vogue, they all feel, well, kinda summery. But let’s take a closer look, shall we?

PHOTOS: Who Was Best Dressed At Roberto Cavalli?

0-cav

Celebrities are pretty much a front row staple at any fashion show, but only the biggest names in fashion can guarantee A-list faces — as opposed those most commonly seen on the CW. Roberto Cavalli is one of those names. Elisabetta Canalis, Heidi Klum, Leona Lewis, Rachel Bilson, and Taylor Swift all turned up and out in Milan to see what Cavalli had in store for his spring collection. But who was best dressed?

Victoria’s Secret Releases Annual “What Is Sexy?” List

Since 1977, Victoria’s Secret has defined what it means to be sexy — which in their case involves a good bra and a solid head of beachy hair. Today, Victoria’s Secret released their annual What Is Sexy? list, which this year celebrates “the sexiest Bombshells in Hollywood.”

PHOTOS: Who Were The Belles Of The Met Ball?

Monday night marked the single biggest event on fashion’s yearly calendar: The Metropolitan Museum’s Costume Institute Gala. The theme this year was American Woman: Fashioning a National Identity and, appropriately, focused on American style through the ages. We’ve touched on some historical icons and wondered how exactly the Gap — this year’s sponsor — was going to pull off outfitting stars for the red carpet, but the photos are up and the guests have made it past the very velvet rope, so now the fun part begins.

Taylor Swift Named New Face Of Cover Girl

0-swift

t came as no surprise to us when Taylor Swift was named the next celebrity face of Cover Girl cosmetics. She stands for everything the brand represents; clean, fresh faced, and naturally beautiful. According to the brand, Tay Tay will be appearing in Cover Girl commercials and print advertisements, as well as making in-store appearances to sell a yet to be announced product line.

Red Carpet At The ACM’s: The Good, The Bad, And The Country

ACMTHUMBNAIL

The Academy Of Country Music Awards are a different kind of awards show. The hair is usually bigger and the dresses are most definitely glitzier — at least that’s the way it’s supposed to be. Why expect any different this year, especially considering the awards were held in Vegas? Right? Wrong.

Taylor Made: 4 Muses That Prove It’s All In A Name

0-Taylors

Sure, it’s not exactly Shakespearian. But if fashion’s cardinal rule of threes (and fours) is to be believed, it seems lately there’s something to the name Taylor. Of course, it’s not quite up there with, say, a Kelly or a Birkin, but try and think of the last time you went anywhere — a newsstand, a grocery store, even the dentist’s office without experiencing some sort of run-in with this moniker-of-the-moment.

Taylor Swift Fierce And Fearless In Elle

0-Elle

This month marks Elle’s Work and Power issue, and many will wonder why the magazine opted for a just-out-of-her-teens superstar. While Taylor Swift is undeniably popular, would it not have made more sense to put someone a little, well, older on the cover? Maybe someone who could, at the very least, legally have a happy-hour cocktail?
