If there’s one show we’re sure will stick with us fifty years from now, it’s that of Thom Browne for Spring 2014. While it was arresting to no end, it was also ripe with night terror bait. His inspiration, “insane Elizabethan clowns,” is scary enough, without adding an insane asylum backdrop complete with the kind of nurses you might find on American Horror Story, Joker-inspired beauty, and a droning xylophone soundtrack.
We were stunned to see that one of Taylor Tomasi Hill‘s dresses from her Lane Crawford collection was nearly identical to a Marc by Marc Jacobs number from spring 2008. Alas, this isn’t the only dud TTH ripped off for her collection.
Yesterday everyone was oh-so-excited that former Marie Claire editor/current Moda Operandi artistic director/perennial street style star Taylor Tomasi Hill designed some clothes. While the Lane Crawford collection is cute, it’s not particularly original.
