The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo Page 1
Last night we were bored to tears by the super lame SAG Awards red carpet. Leave it to Rooney Mara to school everyone, all the way from Japan.
Rooney Mara is still on her world subjugation tour — erm, we mean, promoting The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo — so yesterday she stopped to let the good people of Italy know just how she would prefer them to worship her. And she did it in perhaps the girliest dress we’ve seen her wear yet: a classic Valentino red.
Rooney Mara‘s fashion hits just keep on coming!
Rooney Mara‘s red carpet style for The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo premieres can be summed up as not-so-basic black (and sometimes white). In keeping with this, last night she stepped out for the Paris premiere in a Louis Vuitton number that truly straddled the line between pretty and cool.
Vogue put Rooney and Kate Mara on this year’s best dressed sisters list, and last night the stylish siblings battled it out on the red carpet.
Rooney Mara is officially the cover model of the moment. One year ago, the actress appeared as The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo‘s Lisbeth Salander on the cover of W. This year she’s scored a trifecta of sorts: first Vogue, and now Dazed & Confused and Allure.
We feel like we should warn you now, everything about the photos that you’re about to see is so severely pretty it almost hurts.
Confirming rumors from last month, Rooney Mara is indeed Vogue‘s November cover girl — and the cover is really, really lovely.
Last week when we posted this photo of Emma Watson‘s new hairdo, all we could do was praise her. Oh my, we said, how well it suits her face! How refreshing it is to see something so simple and so honest, and how cool that Watson chose to make her hair an homage to Twiggy or Mia Farrow in Rosemary’s Baby! But news has surfaced today that Watson may have had an ulterior motive in cutting her hair.
