The Olsen twins love them some backpacks. Remember the alligator one that sold out last year? Well, they’ve now designed a second iteration that, if hawked on eBay, could feed a small family for a year.

Last night, Anderson Cooper dedicated his Ridiculist segment to the Olsen twins’ $34,000 alligator backpack for their luxury brand The Row. And while it doesn’t take a particularly attuned moral barometer to realize that the making and buying of a $34,000 alligator backpack is absurd, there were a few other problems with Cooper’s diatribe that we can’t help but take issue with.
