Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake’s bromance may be in full bloom, but it seems that Tom Ford, who has been outfitting the two regularly and received a lyrical fistbump from the pair on “Suit & Tie”, is starting to turn it into a bit of a love triangle.
Now that men can buy crop tops and walk for womenswear, it seems the sartorial gender gap is finally being bridged. But so far there’s been something missing. No longer thanks to Tom Ford, who has designed a range of
makeup high-performance grooming products for guys.
Any excuse to bring up THAT green Versace dress is a legit one by us. But, for the first time in thirteen years, Jennifer Lopez might have finally done something almost as memorable, and it’s not an energetically patterned line of bedding and bath linens for Kohls.
Tom Ford is a very private person, so when he gives interviews, it’s a big deal. The designer spoke with WWD on a seriously wide array of topics, and what caught our eye was not him talking about his current customers, but his former.
Wouldn’t Tom Ford just be the best dad ever? (Other than our own dad, of course. Hi Dad!) It’s been nearly six months since the birth of his son, Alexander John Buckley Ford (he just goes by Jack), and the designer sat down with André Leon Talley to dish on how he’s juggling fatherhood with his responsibilities at his eponymous label. Short answer? By waking up really, really early.
Tom Ford and Justin Timberlake are both in the midst of comeback moments of sorts. Last month, JT released “Suit & Tie”, his first single since 2006, and now the singer is prepping for the release of his full-length album and subsequent tour. Today, Ford staged his first full-scale runway show in London since launching his label in 2010. Oh, and did we mention the handsome pair are also collaborating with one another?

Since launching his womenswear label in 2010, Tom Ford has shown his collections in presentations of utmost exclusivity — no photos or social media allowed. This year, however, it was announced that the designer will be staging his first full-scale runway show during London Fashion Week in February. And not only that: he’ll even be inviting bloggers!

Anne Hathaway is putting quite the concerted effort into her edgy red carpet ensembles lately, isn’t she? First she chose a contentious Givenchy Couture batwing beaded number for the London premiere of Les Misérables and last night she stepped out in a full look from Tom Ford‘s spring collection — right down to the bondage-inspired boots-cum-sandals.
Welcome to the world, Alexander John Buckley Ford! You may not know it yet, but you’re about to be one very well-dressed kid.
Tom Ford is notorious for keeping his eponymous collections under wraps — he only shows to the top editors and there’s a stricter-than-strict no photography or social media rule. Of course, things have leaked in the past, and it seems like Ford is finally bowing to his own rule. That’s probably why he decided to release a video of his spring 2013 collection. Happy Tuesday, everyone!
Tom Brady covers the fall issue of VMAN wearing a fancy Givenchy suit and holding a very ferocious Doberman.
Wonder if we’ll get the same treatment from Roitfeld if we asked?
