What we love most about the end of August, is that it means fall is just around the bend. But, what gets us almost as excited as the prospect of peach fuzz sweaters and pumpkin flavored pastries is The Venice Film Festival and its endless parade of sumptuous fashion moments.

Gwyneth Paltrow is a polarizing figure. You either love her — she sang “F*ck You” on Glee! — or you hate her — she’s as condescending as she is out to lunch. But you kind have to admit that she’s got sick style. Keira Knightley is doing some really wonderful things at the Venice Film Festival. In promotion of her film A Dangerous Method, she has worn two looks we really love.
Madonna made her directorial debut in Venice Thursday night with the premiere of her Wallis Simpson biopic, W.E. But while the film stars Andrea Riseborough in the title role, all eyes were on the Material Girl as she floated (almost literally) down the red carpet in a baby blue Vionnet dress covered with red butterflies.
