Whether she’s wearing plunging Elie Saab or fluoro pink Valentino, Emma Stone‘s red carpet game is second to none, a fact which Vogue celebrated this year by putting the actress on the cover of their annual “Best Dressed” issue. But Stone shrugs off the suggestion that her fashion sense is really all that worthy of the attention.
U-S-A! U-S-A! Vogue‘s annual Best Dressed issue has a “Style Across America” theme for 2012, a wise choice with all of the Election-inspired patriotism in the air these days. This year, like every year, the magazine’s staffers were “overflowing with ideas, photos, and candidates—and there just isn’t room for all of it,” as the magazine’s style director, Alexandra Kotur explains. So they decided to release a special issue that focuses just on the women who they’ve anointed the best dressed women in the world.
