wake up and get real Page 1
We don’t know what’s better about this video: the fact that Kelly Cutrone had the presence of mind to film herself at 6:02AM from an airport hotel in Toronto, the fact that she refers to the Huffington Post like it’s a real magazine made of paper, or how hugely she rips a Sheraton customer service rep a new one after they bungled her wake up call and forgot to deliver her coffee.
When we first heard that Kelly Cutrone and her BFF Justine Bateman were debuting a web-based talk show, we were insanely excited. But as the weeks (and episodes) of “Wake Up And Get Real” wore on, we have to admit, we were a little disappointed and kinda bored. For a show that describes itself as “a talk show that would express the views that aren’t on THE VIEW,” we were hoping they’d tackle a few more weighty and debate-worthy issues. Well, now they have.
Last week, Kelly Cutrone — tired of waiting for Bravo to greenlight a second season of “Kell On Earth” — launched a YouTube channel called KellyCutroneTV, which features “daily missives” from the people of People’s Revolution “served up piping hot.” Not done with her plans for total web domination, this morning Cutrone debuted a new web-based talk show called, “Wake Up And Get Real” with her BFF Justine Bateman.
