In case you haven’t already heard, Keira Knightley and James Righton tied the knot this weekend in the South of France at what looked to be a lovely, low-key ceremony. So low key in fact, that the actress donned a dress she pulled out from the back of her closet — not the worst idea when your closet is filled with gorgeous Rodarte frocks.
If you take the tabloid rumor mill at their word, Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux should be getting married any week now, since Aniston’s new comedy is finally set to wrap filming in Connecticut tomorrow. Which of course must mean that the actress’ dress is being sewn, embroidered, fitted, and finished as we speak. But who is the lucky designer?
Just when we thought the flash mob trend was dying out, Gilt put up this listing on their site: a ‘flash mob wedding proposal experience’ at NYC’s Artisanal Fromagerie and Bistro on Dec. 12, which you can have for a mere $20,000.
After Evan Rachel Wood and Jamie Bell were spotted with matching wedding bands, everyone wondered if the two had secretly hitched. Well, congrats to the newlyweds!
Hint: the designer is more known for her slinky, sexy, bombshell numbers than frothy, nuptial-ready confections. Which sounds right up Angie’s alley, actually.
Ever since Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel tied the knot on Friday, we’ve been waiting with bated breath for deets about their big day. Tidbits are slowly but surely coming in, and we’ve got it all right here.
After five years of dating, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel finally tied the knot — congrats, you love birds! There was speculation that they would get married over the weekend just like their fellow celebs, but those two fooled us all by getting married today. A Friday!
When you get invited to a wedding celebration thrown by the crew at Martha Stewart Weddings, believe us when we say you should check the “attending” box — or, as it were, send an “Yes” email to their RSVP address.
Leandra Medine, a.k.a The Man Repeller, got married back in June, and while we had all the deets on her big day, we were left wondering about her man. Of course, Medine’s family and friends know who Mr. Man Repeller is, but for the rest of the world, he’s a mystery. Thankfully, Town & Country solves that problem with a feature on the pair in its November issue. So, who’s the lucky guy?
Over the weekend, Amber Tamblyn married funny man David Cross in one of the most untraditional — and therefore awesome — ceremonies. Thanks to Questlove‘s pictures via Instagram, we felt like we were a part of Tamblyn and Cook’s big day. And what a day it was!
Anne Hathaway‘s had a busy year promoting The Dark Knight Rises and filming Les Miserables. Oh yeah, and the 29-year-old has also been planning her wedding to fellow actor Adam Shulman. The two were engaged in November, and the deets about the big day have been little to none. But now, we know the most important tidbit of all — her wedding dress designer!
Last week we brought you heaps of glorious photos of models’ nuptials, so this week we figured it was the designers’ turn! These ceremonies run the gamut from Michael Kors‘ relaxed beachside vows (he and hubby Lance LePere went to see The Help after they said “I Do”) to Victoria Beckham‘s high-profile nineties extravaganza (more than 500 guests watched her walk the aisle in a Vera Wang gown with a 20-foot train).
Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied finally exchanged vows in California this weekend, but the most important question on our minds was: who designed the dress? There was speculation that the 31-year-old actress would don a Christian Dior creation, but we scoffed at such a thought since she slammed John Galliano for his anti-Semetic remarks last year. We thought that Portman would wear one of her favorite brands Rodarte, and as it turns out, we were right.
Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied were finally married in California on Saturday. Congrats to the very good looking couple!
This wedding season was a big one for the fashion industry — Margherita Missoni, Leandra Medine, and Jacquetta Wheeler all tied the knot this summer. And the season may be drawing to a close, but that doesn’t mean we have to stop looking at photos of pretty people’s nuptials! So we’ve done a roundup of models on their wedding days, from Claudia Schiffer and Stephanie Seymour to Kate Moss and Lily Aldridge.
Holy mental ward romance, Batman! This couple met in 2010 whilst at New York-Presbyterian Westchester Hospital in White Plains, where she was being treated for anxiety, and he for depression.
Do you ever look at a particularly strange product and wonder who pitched it in a boardroom — and what team of brand execs thought it was a good idea? Well, file this under “products that probably shouldn’t have made it past the half-baked idea stage”.
Kristen Stewart could not possibly be more indifferent to the behavioral guidelines stars are supposed to follow. She disrespects Karl Lagerfeld. She won’t smile in photos. That’s one thing, but looking like you don’t give a crap at your friend’s wedding is entirely another.
