We’re all for multipurpose fashion: pants that can roll up to become capris, necklaces that become belts, and scarves that can be worn as hair accessories, around one’s neck, or even as a sarongs. If one item can be worn in different ways, it’s an investment. It instantly becomes a wardrobe staple.
But fashion as food? Or, rather, food as fashion — it seems an odd fit. Which is why we couldn’t help but show you these incredibly entertaining photographs from Italian photographer Fulvio Bonavia’s book “A Matter of Taste.”
The book features rice-covered rain boots, an artichoke hat, and a Chanel bag made entirely out of blackberries (which the exception of its brand-defining hardware, of course) Chocolate truffle earrings, broccoli purses, and a fish-belt are among some of the other images from Bonavia’s whimsical book.
