WATCH: Marc Jacobs’ Daisy Commercial Takes Place In A Field Of Daisies

We know we complain all the time about fragrance ads being weird, which is why it’s sort of refreshing to see one that’s, well, normal. Marc Jacobs‘ new commercial for his fragrances Daisy and Daisy Eau So Fresh, are about as normal as normal gets.

For one thing, the commercial takes place in a field of daisies — and how much more literal can you get? It stars models Sophie Srej, Frida Gustovsson and Hannah Holman, doing the things that young women do in fields of daisies on warm summer days: wielding large bottles of perfume while languishing on top of white horses. Like, duh.

And while we sort of miss the alternative — which is clearly a girl running around while giant daisies undulate around her and construct an entire metropolis with their branches — we really like how straightforward this commercial is.
